Oto Uzay started its commercial life in 1973 as a retail store on Tarlabaşı Boulevard in Taksim. In the ' 1970s, only domestic cars were selling spare parts and accessories. Over time, it began selling imported products. It started importing its products in 1984 and is still ongoing.
Oto Uzay began producing its own products in 2500 m2 factory in Topkapı,1981 . The company has appointed a traveling truck full of its products and a marketing team consisting of two people.It has been more successfull with new marketing technology. The increase in the cost of production reduced production.Therefore , a product range was determined with the majority of imported products.
Now Oto Uzay , it operates on 17,000 m2 of Topraklar Plaza – Kasımpaşa/Beyoğlu, construction of which was completed in March 2006.
